Founded with the mission of managing the Hawthorn Community Gardens at our Boulder Farm, our organization began as a small initiative. Since 1998, we’ve expanded to oversee 7 community garden sites throughout Boulder County. These gardens offer over 800 residents the opportunity to grow their own food. Additionally, our compassionate gardeners consistently share their surplus, donating an average of 1,000 pounds of fresh produce each year to support our Food Project.
